Vicki Biehn is the Rural Services Coordinator and Therapist at Sexual Assault Services (SAS).  Vicki has worked with SAS since November of 2003.  She provides direct services to survivors and their support people in Racine County; including therapy, legal and medical advocacy.  Vicki also provides presentations on sexual assault and sexual harassment to a variety of Racine County residents.

Vicki's belief is that all people intuitively know what is best for them - what is necessary for their own healing - and that the body and brain have the capacity to heal.  Vicki sees her role as similar to that of a gardener and the client is the seed with everything they need to grow and be the person that they want to be already inside them.  She believes it is the role of the therapist to help facilitate the healing process and wants to work as a team with the individual to create the change they seek in their life.  Vicki believes that change is possible when the individual is in a safe, compassionate and caring space with their therapist.

Vicki has worked with survivors of sexual assault for over 20 years.  She also has experience working with sexual assault survivors' significant others (parents, partners, siblings).  She works with children, adolescents and adults in individual, couples, family and group sessions.

Vicki is a Licensed Professional Counselor and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Western State College and a Masters in Counseling from Appalachian State University.
